Favourite Place In Midkemia

the city forever, with huge buildings and squares would be pretty cool. and its there forever, so..

I quite liked Lands End in Jimmy the Hand. It seemed peaceful and full of rich people, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Jimmy seemed to like it too

Pointer's Head - I don't believe it has ever been mentioned but it's so out of the way.

The other advantage about places you know nothing about is that you can imagine what ever you want about it, as nothing as ever been stated before

The Midkemian Gazetteer

Here you go Kulgan. I found this a while back whilst trying to find out where about Armengar was. It has most of the places on, plus descriptions and so forth. Enjoy!

Thank you muchly, Vencar. I once had full maps of Trialgia, Kelewan, etc, but lost them in a crash. Even the ones I had didn't show all the little towns and cities mentioned in the books. The map on the Gazeteer seems impossible to download tho. all I get when I try are various 'fragments' of the map, but not the whole. Any ideas?

Thanks again, Vencar. These I can download, tho there's still a trick to it. This is the place I found them a few yrs ago, but lost 'em in a crash. I like to print these out so when I'm reading about particular places I can relate to them on the map.

May Ruthia shine upon you and bring you good luck. :)

Cheers! I'm always interested in geographical features and so forth. Feist provides plenty so i learn something new each time i reread.

So do I, and I'm also fascinated by the places we have NOT gone in the stories yet. For example, I'm hoping that one of these days Ray is going to take us deeper into the Lesser Keshian Confederadcy. I'd like to explore places like Shing Lai, Dong Tai and Toa Zi in greater depth, just to name a few.

I would love to visit sorcerers isle, the place sounds totally enchanting,I would also like to meet Gathis, there is alot about Gathis that I'm sure is very special.

thnx vencar i look at the maps and realised theres 2 jonrils ! just south of the green reaches and the 1 near carse and tulan.

Just read an article stating that Novindus is based on India with Ray saying it is full of different languages, cultures and so on. I like the fact that he is using real places and adapting them.

Vencar, where'd you find that artiicle? I'd love to read it. After I read a little about the Tsuranni there was never any doubt in my mind that Ray was using real cultures to base his writings on, as Tsurannuanni matches Feudal Japan - with perhaps a bit of Maya or Aztec culture thrown in for good measure.

Again, i've noticed that Roldem is related to Poland. The history of Poland fits exactly to the description of Roldem, with its court especially
