Favourite Place In Midkemia

Thanks for the link to a great article. I had also noticed the similarities between Roldem and Poland as well as Rodez/Spain and Bas-Tyra/France.

I had to think for a minute about Novindus, as I had been thinking more of Africa than India, but India does fit, particularly as I have also come to see Kesh as more of a cultures based on various tribes, as in Africa.

Definitely good stuff and gives us more insight into the mind of the author.

To me, Novindus has seemed a bit of everything. It was never Africa, that was definitely Kesh, but it didn't seem like India too. But the similarities are there, like you said, and i really want to explore it a bit more

My favourite place is probably all of Kelewan because of the way the Tsurnari have survived and brought a heritage with them to a new world

I think I'd like to visit Stone Mountain, Smoke the odd pipe, get drunk on Dwarven Ale and enjoy the mountain views. Maybe pop down a mine for a look.

The locals would be a bit of a handful as well. You'd possibly get into a fair few fights

Krondor and Kesh because Krondor is the home of many great characters in the book and Kesh is great because it's split from Midkemia.:D

In regards to the questions about Armengar being rebuilt, mine being one of them, i'm sad to say it wasn't.

Was Armengar rebuilt ?

Raymond E Feist
Date: 02 July 1998

No, it was never rebuilt. It was one of those youthful boasts a young King might make, later to be blunted by the realities of money, politics, and miliary necessity.

Shiang Lai :D

It has a nice ring to the name!

Honestly, I don't know. Every place is special

I'd have to say Krondor because that where arutha is and he's one of the coolest characters. Same with Jimmy The Hand.
