Who said that?

Ooooh! Rain! Wicked, tricksy, false!

Doing a repeat was clever... I thought for a long while on that one.

This one is a conversation with the descriptions of their actions and expressions left out... name the two speakers.

First Person: "There are things I must know."

Second Person: "Why should I tell you anything?"

FP: "To save your life."

SP: "You think I fear death?"

FP: "You should. Your crimes have earned you a place of torment in the deepest of the seven hells, if the gods are just."

SP: "What gods are those?... If there are gods, why is the world so full of pain and injustice."

I cannot continue the conversation any longer, the next two lines are a dead give away.

I was thinking Jaime as well, but this line doesn't fit into the way Jaime talks:

If there are gods, why is the world so full of pain and injustice.

Still you seem pretty confident there Cul.

We'll see. It was certainly familiar, and then I was reading Boaz's post in the scenes thread, and a little lightbulb went off in my head...

EDIT: And then the doubt...

Jaime: "Why is there pain and injustice?"

Catelyn: "Because of men like you."

Jaime: "There are no men like me. There's only me."

Well, I don't have my books with me at work so that's a paraphrase, but it's probably very close.

Your turn, Cul.

Too late to edit, dang.

Anyway, good job Cul of linking my posts. The 'scenes' post was definitely a give away.

whiskey, just to let you know... we have a protocol here to keep order. You can find it on the first page of the thread, but I'll sum it up. 1. The quote comes from ASOIAF. 2. The poster of the quote needs to confirm the answer before someone else posts a new quote, unless someone proves the correct answer by actually copy and pasting that particular section of text. 3. The person who correctly identified the quote gets to post the new quote. 4. No double or triple guessing.

Believe me, I know the rules, because I've broken all of them multiple times! Now, half the people on here might kid me for breaking the rules and then trying to make you abide by them... I don't mean to curb your enthusiasm, Lord knows we can all use a dose of it.

Alright, and sorry for the delay...

Robb Reyne, Gareth the Grey, Ser Aubrey Ambrose, Lord Gormon Peake, Black Byren Flowers, Redtusk, Fireball... Bittersteel! I ask you, has there ever been such a noble company, such a roll of heroes?

"ser Ritsaart" (I don't know his name in English, I've got the Dunk and Egg stories in Dutch translation) from the Dunk and Egg stories.
