Who said that?

Now the question is "Does Southron Sword have a quote for us or should Wiggum go ahead and post one?"

Lol, I didn't bring my books to work with me for some reason.

If someone else wants to go ahead, feel free, otherwise I will post one in timely haste when I retire to my home.

Come on, Wiggs!!! What were you thinking? Of course after numerous rereads, my books have been relegated to my bathroom bookshelf.

Not as many as The Lord of the Rings! If I told you this number, you'd lose all ability to think that I ever did anything else.

Dunno, probably read AGOT eight times, ACOK five, ASOS six, and AFFC twice... but's that's just a guess. But now that they're in the bathroom, I just read favorite passages... nothing longer than a few minutes. TMI?

lol, I actually keep mine by my bed and will read a couple random chapters to ease me into slumberland.

But I'm not so happy I tuned into "WTMI, Way Too Much Information radio! This is your morning host, BOAZ!!", and now know what Boaz does when he's taking the kids to the pool.

I'll be home in about an hour and a half, if no one posts one in the meantime, I'll put a Wiggum stylie quote up.

I'm honestly not sure if this character has a proper name given in the books, but details of the encounter will qualify as adequate:

"I dreamt I saw a shadow with a burning heart butchering a golden stag, aye. I dreamt of a man without a face, waiting on a bridge that swayed and swung. On his shoulder perched a crow with seaweed hanging from his wings. I dreamt of a roaring river and a woman that was a fish. Dead she drifted, with red tears on her cheeks, but when her eyes did open, oh, I woke from terror."

"I've seen what happens to soft lordlings when they're put to work. Set them to churning butter and their hands blister and bleed. Give them an axe to split logs, and they cut off their own foot."

If I ever do get a quote right, go right ahead and post a new one because I dont have my books and im in no position to get them. Unless I state otherwise! I just enjoy guessing the quotes.

As this is the 1000th post, I just want to take the opportunity to thank you all for contributing so much especially the regulars, I knew when i started this that it would be a long running thread. ASOIAF has a plethora of great quotes for us to enjoy, and i dont think we're going to run out any time soon!
