Ooohh I hope they make it a long RPG actioner like Fallout 3 or Mass Effect but more gritty.

Kauldron26 - I liked Dune a lot besides the predictable ending (don't shoot me), but I prefer Richard Morgans style. Haven't read Red Mars (any good?).

Yes Biodroid, the Kovacs story would make a great game. Particularly if they went back into his Peacekeeper history.

Still need to read the Kovacs series, at least I got Black Man and Market Forces to keep me going till I order it online.

Imagine Peter F Hamilton doing a fantasy novel, going by todays standards or size of fantasy and SF the said novel should be about 7000 pages long

One of the two main plots in his current trilogy is essentially an Epic Fantasy storyline - while there is a SF explanation for it the plot and setting is fairly traditional Epic Fantasy (and done very well, I thought).
