Eastercon 2010 - London

You've got about a week before the writing workshop closes to applications

Despite being horribly busy and somewhat broke, I'm definately considering it...

TT ... will be great to see you again.

Winters Sorrow ... there's also whiskey tasting I believe

*Bites forefinger*

You're not making it easy for me not to go here, Nesa :)

I'm in similar straights to Toby. Hmm. Will have a long hard look at finances and see what I can manage.

The new Dr Who is on telly April 3rd. Do you think they'll put a big screen up or something? Otherwise, things may go quiet because everyone's gone to their rooms.

Be great if they had it on in the bar- everyone cheering like its the footie.

I'd be astonished if they don't. It's become something of a tradition at Eastercon.

Dr Who made it's return (Christopher Eccleston's first episode) during my first ever Eastercon, and it was quite an amazing atmosphere; sitting in a room full of SF fans, waiting for the return of this iconic show. Especially when, with the tension at its highest, somebody passed round a bag of jelly babies.

Blank, blank rail strike! Can get there ok, but if the strike is on, hubby is going to have to come down and pick us up on the Tuesday morning, and then take daughter back to Uni, as she is in the middle of her dissertation, and only having a break to go to Eastercon.
