The Candle that doesn't flicker...

I'm still curious as to what extent good or evil the candles will have on the war in Westeros. Danny has alot of enemies at the Citadel so I'm sure she will be one of many targets.

With the emergence of magic, and the activity of the whites bringing the dead back, is it known how long someone has to be dead before they can be resurrected? I was thinking when winter comes along with more whites, is it possible to resurrect some of the old Starks from the crypts, and anyone else for that matter whom have been dead for awhile? Has everyone who has came back as a white been a recent death? Obviously, the Starks of the crypts may be no more than dust and bones, but like Maester Aemon says "Cold preserves, fire consumes".

I have been busy, kind of a crazy year last year on top of the fact that I was trying to keep the book delays out of my mind. I lurked but didn't post to much.

Sansa the player hmmm.... lost her wolf but gains a hound maybe?

Cat was dead for a few days I think when the brotherhood finds her. Maybe the "fire consumes" means the mind and will, like Thoros felt near the end he was eaten up. The magic is strong but he started to lose who he was and he was tired.

"cold preserves" might mean "The cold protects" or "the cold safeguards" using the dictionary translation. The 2000 years that have past could have been like a game of telephone nothing they know is really how it happened. The others could be good and dragons are bad and propaganda has been being spread for years.
