Not a fanboy, but am a little old lady fan and I voted this morning for Jaime. It was a hard decision since I like both series.

I'm voting for magic. The magic that is "readership" and how much I like ASOIAF. We are the watchers on the wall...

Besides, GRRM cares about this, tends to his blog, and still writing--that is the real reality.

I like Jaime's character, too.

OK. GRRM's put up his version of the trial of seven now. I need someone much much smarter then I am to break down where Jaime's six companions came from... Mellisandre is obvious... but the rest I'm unfamiliar with, are they all Wildcards? I'm assumiong that George isn't taking credit for Lohengrin via Wagner's opera...

It's the last day of voting and Jaime is losing. He had a little surge where he came from behind to take the lead by a few votes, but now he's behind again by a considerable amount (100 votes and going up). If you haven't done already... VOTE JAIME!

It was very close indeed. I don't think either contestant ever got above the 52% mark. It's too bad that Jaime didn't win, but he had a good run.
