aSoIaF Trivia Game

Give me the names of people who have the following colours as part of their Nickname or Title. to be counted, the colour has to be in the name, for example, Lem Lemoncloak would not cout for Yellow because, while Lemons are Yellow, his name isn't Lem Yellowcloak. Derogatory names count

And to make things more challenging, I don't want ANY Red Priests mentioned for Red.

4 people for Black
3 people for Red
2 people for Green
2 people for Yellow
2 people for Blue
1 person for White

I'll start...

Black Bernarr, a ranger
Black Walder Frey, one of Walder's grandsons
Red Ronnet Connington, cousin to Griff and a one time suitor of Brienne's
Horas and Hobber Redwyne, twin sons of Lord Paxter Redwyne
The Green Grace, a priestess of Mereen
Arsten Whitebeard, an alias for BFS

Well, that's less than half...

Brynden Tully, Blackfish
Black Pearl - the courtesan in Braavos
Ben Blackthumb
Black Harren
Ser Bronn of the Blackwater
Barsena Blackhair

Oberyn Martell, The Red Viper
Olenna Redwyne
Mychel Redfort
Horton Redfort

Lommy Greenhands
Greenbeard

Yellow Dick
Emmon Cuy, The Yellow of the Rainbow Guard

Wat, Blue Bard
Blue Grace of Meereen

Gerold Hightower, the White Bull

I Guess Sry takes it. I love that both of you thought of many that I didn't have in mind.

I would also have accepted...

Black Belaq - of the Goldan Company
Black Jack Bulwar - a Nights Watch ranger
Red Walder - a Frey
Greenguts - Archi Yronwood
The yellow whale - Yezzen zo Qaggaz. Penny, Tyrion and Jorah's master for a short time
Sir Pate of the Blue Fork - Gatehouse Ami's first husband. Slain by the Mountain while in service to Robb Stark. An obscure name, though he is mentioned in 3 books
White Walda - a Frey

Sry is up.

ugh. I don't have a question at the ready. Okay. Something... hm... Riddle maybe...

Two fruits of a different colour on the neighbouring branches in the autumn make one big unhappy family.

What are the fruits in question, what is the family, and as a bonus, what started it?

Green and Red Apples, of the Fossoways? I'm going to opt out of the bonus question.

whether i'm right or wrong, I like your very imaginitive question.

Correct, Arsten! I understand opting out of the bonus since it is addressed in Tales of Dunk and Egg. It is really about the Trial of the Seven when Raymun Fossoway took different side than his cousin Ser Steffon. Ser Steffon used to call Raymun green because he was younger, smaller, and a squire who wasn't as proficient as a brawler and jouster. Upon being knighted to participate in the Trial of the Seven on Dunk's side, Raymun took the Green apple as his sigil. As a consequence of that, two branches of family now independently.

I was feeling very poetic today. XD

Dancer - Bran
The Silver - Dany
Honor - Jaime
Glory - Jaime
Chestnut - Dunk
Sweetfoot - Dunk
Thunder - Dunk
Stranger - Sandor

Well, Sry was quicker while I dug out The Hedge Knight to find Duncan's horses.

Good question, just thinking what was Arya and Briene horses called, are there names mentioned?

I actually have to give it to Boaz because, while Dany calls her horse her silver, and drogo's horse was referred to as his red stallion, the Dothraki do not name their horses. the clinching point is that, in the books, when danny calls her horse her silver, the word silver is not capitalized, which would indicate it as a descriptor rather than a name.

Boaz has it with Honor, Glory, Dancer, Stranger and Dunk's horses, though I can neither confirm or deny that those are correct, being as that I don't know the Dunk and Eg stories well enough.

the 5th horse I was thinking of is Smiler, Theon's horse.

So, to Boaz with a technicality.

YES!!! YES!!! In your face, Srylanna!!!!

Wait... I won on a technicality? Ooops... uh, what I meant to say was... Lucky me... You win some, you lose some. I'm just here to help the team. I'm gonna give it my best effort, the good Lord willing. We've just gotta play 'em one game at a time.

Okay... staying with the mounted theme... Some of these mounts were ridden in war, some for entertainment, and one out of necessity. I'll give you the riders, you give me the names of their mounts.

Aegon II -
Queen Alysanne -
Bran - Dancer and
Daenerys - the Silver and
Oppo -
Penny -
Queen Rhaenys -
Tyrion -
Queen Visenya -

Aegon II - Sunfyre
Queen Alysanne - Silverwing
Bran - Dancer and Hodor
Daenerys - the Silver and Drogo
Oppo - Pretty the Pig
Penny - Crouch
Queen Rhaenys - Meraxes
Tyrion - Pretty the Pig
Queen Visenya - Vhagar

Okay... I did not mean to type Aegon II, I meant Aegon I. I've never even heard of Sunfyre, but the Wiki of Ice and Fire says you're correct. The last trivia I posted was in the Who'da thunk it thread and now I've mistyped this trivia... Sheesh... I'm... I'm... I'm not good.

Sry, for figuring out Sunfyre and for not stumbling on Oppo and Tyrion sharing a mount and even though I think Penny's dog is named Crunch and that you may have left off the letter N for Dany's second mount (either way it works), I award you the win.

I think I need to get my act together before winning any more trivia...
