What famous ship is featured in GRRM books, and by what other known do we know it in the books?
I am going to need a clarification. Do you mean a specific ship or do you mean type of a ship?

If a specific ship, then Saduleon aka Balerion.

If not that, then idk ahahaha Hint maybe?

it's a specific fantasy ship, but not literally featured as a ship in the books.

ohoho Well, there was a Bold Voyager., but I guess that would be more of a sci-fi nod.

So, it is a homage to something. Damn. Martin has a lot of those. I'll have to think a bit further.

Not sure if he meant it as a homage to that ship, it might be referencing to something else, but the ship is named that way as well.
So far no answer was right. You're all thinking to literally.

Yeah, yeah, I go it. Some item or someone, named for a famous fantasy ship.

Well, there is Duncan from Jules Verne's In Search of the Castaways.

Nope, nothing that sophisticated

What famous ship is featured in GRRM books, and what other name references to the same object/person as well.

Rewritten the question to make better sense.

yes, or to be more exact the name can also refere to a famous ship. Not sure if GRRM intended that. But i think he did given the background story.

No, Guess i didn't explain it well above.
Think two names for the same person. Like Arya Stark and Weasel are 1 and the same person.
Though in this case multiple answers are correct for 1 of the names

I could give a hint that makes the answer blatantly obvious if you'd all prefer.
