aSoIaF Trivia Game

No it's the name of a person whom has also been called the name of said famous ship. Another person later took up the name of the ship as well.

Arya. She used the name Nymeria (Nan). Another person was named Nymeria and a direwolf was named Nymeria. And Arya as Cat of Canals lied that her father was an oarsman on a ship named Nymeria.

Nope, i mean a famous ship not in GRRM's world, but in another Fantasy world

Ugh. Well, Duncan. Dunk. Ship in another Fantasy world is a yacht Duncan.

Is that proper reasoning?

I give up ahahahahahhaah Sorry. I can't figure out what I'm supposed to figure out. Best of luck to the rest of the peeps. XD

If Narkalui gives up as well, i'll give a hint that should make you know it immediately.

No one else on the internet appears to have picked up on this homage. If it's not Corlys Valaryon aka The Sea Snake then I'm stumped

Nope, guess it's time to give an obvious hint.
Before i do, i'm curious what you all make of sparrow. Does anyone else think GRRM doesn't think to highly of the church ? The faith seems full of monsters.

Evangelistic psychopaths and overweight corrupt bigots. Sounds about right to me, although the priests of the seven haven't really been shown to be particularly bigoted. Or to be paedophiles.

I think he doesn't think too highly about certain aspects of different religions and those in power were often corrupt in one way or another (Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely). In some other cases, they go to the other extreme where their zealotry takes them too far. So far, High Sparrow seems to be walking a certain fine-line, but might be on the verge of crossing it. He doesn't seem to stand for the corrupt ways of the highborn and rich, but seem rather sympathetic towards the small ones. It will all depend on when his ideals and religion are tested by something else. Say, the good of his followers versus the ideals of his faith. Depending on what he picks, he could end up a full-blown zealot.

On the other hand, Septon Meribald in a way actually reminded me of Saint Francis and that was a rather sympathetic portrayal of a septon. Might be because he reminded me of Saint Francis because of Catholic and Christian figures I'm most familiar with (not counting pre 313 AD persons), Saint Francis is one I find most pure in a way. But either way, he seemed a very positive portrayal of a septon despite the events of his past.

So, I think so far, Martin's portrayal of religion was a mixed bag just like religions themselves.

Your turn, Narkalui. The other name i was searching for was Bellegere Otherys or her daughter.
Guess that was suprising hard. I'm hoping you all are having d'Oh moments right now :)

I think my confusion bomb was worse. Here's an easy one.

In the UK the word 'Muppet' is awarded to those who show dim wittedness, gullibility and generally being an 'idiot'. From the World of Ice and Fire (sorry Boaz) name three Riverlords who were complete muppets.
