Funny I just read that post with Bubble Guppies (a bizarre kids show that I won't bore people with my objections to :) ) doing a conga in the background, not often that you get posts with stereo sound.

Gah! My kids love that one, and now I've got the theme tune in my head!:p

Congratulations Moonbat. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings in terms of a theme.

I'm having my Dad stay with me in a couple of weeks, so will be encouraging him to have a go - it'll give him a focus for a few days.

hopewrites:
Congratulations glad i voted early i came down with a cold the last few days

My cold hit hard last night - lost seeing ability in one eye, losing skin on nose, feels like I'm being repeatedly in the face, and feel rotten. Am trying to tell my body it's not ill, but it's not listening!:p

You got hit in the eye as well, SF?

I got hit with my left eye on my cold, it's one major reason I had to delay voting for so long. That, and the fact that too much actual reading of the contrast of text on so much white has started tipping me over into headaches. Sinus pressure hasn't quite put me there.

Congrats Moonbat!

Looking forward to December's challenge.

I'm not, I'm struggling to decide upon a theme/genre

I swear that entering the competition is easier than deciding the next theme/genre. There is no pressure to enter, eveyrone is nice about your story and so even if you write rubbish you can still be made to feel good about it, and there are usually 40 other entries to take the focus off your own rubbish. But there is only one theme, it feels like a lot of pressure.

don't get me wrong, I am very happy to have won, but choosing a theme is the real challenge. :(

Chicken Hockey? Now I've got some very strange story ideas running through my head.

Congrats on winning.:D

Maybe a winter theme, or something festive to suit the time of year? :D

Only a story? I'm off to Tesco with my hockey stick.:p
