Discussion - February 2011 - 75 Word Challenge

Just returned home from two weeks of not having any access whatsoever to wireless fidelity. Took a look at the 75-word challenge for February, and wrote and posted in less than ten minutes. I really need to get me some patience - no doubt it could have been better if I spent more time on it, or actually thought for more than thirty seconds about what I was going to write. My impulsiveness will be the end of me, I tell ya'.

Like me, usually. Patience isn't needed. ;)

And me. That's why I worried about the quality. I promise to practice patience next month...for at least thirty seconds...maybe twenty...I'll settle for ten...

Thanks Nixie, I haven't really been gone though. I've been trying to get a bit more balance in my life. So I did not post in last month's 300 word challenge. A guy's gotta work sometime? No?

Sounds like you have the same problem as me only the other way! :D I decided I needed to get some balance back in my life a do a little less work. It had really being getting silly these last 12 months.

Vertigo, I'm not sure what you do, but a parson is like a small business owner. You are never done, but sometimes you quite. The problem is that you can push it the other way and not accomplish enough. --- That's kinda what I've been feeling. --- I spend a lot of time at the office etc. but I seem to be falling behind in what I need to accomplish in a week.

I'll be waiting to see it. Any help is more than welcome.:)

Run my own business (for my sins) Parson. And I can just imagine that your work (at least the office part of that work) would be exactly like running your own business so I fully sympathise!

I like Terry Pratchett's take on filing in the novel Eric.*

The King of Hell introduces human-style management practices, including filing cabinets.

The confused demons file everything under "P" for People.

*Actually, I like Terry Pratchett's take on almost anything. :)

I have something very similar; they all go under f for floor. To be fair, it is partially the Chrons fault, I kept up very nicely til I decided to write a novel, got here, and lost all semblance of normality from my life.

*I too like Terry's take on almost everything.*

Very funny excursus guys. I can see we are all filed under C for Cronites -- Addicted.
