I was also thinking about that...and of the expensive talent fees of the Faceless Men. I know I'm kinda lame (because its the day in the week that I'm sober) in proposing that its more of a Euron than Aerion (was it his real name?) . It would be too much coincidence that Crow's Eye got to arrive after Balon's death. It was there I think that the two had a fallout that lead to Euron being exiled. Then Euron went to the Old Valyria and to the other countries and given his rep, pirating....thus, he can afford to pay for the service charge billed by the FM. I don't think that the fanatic Damphair has the knack to count coppers because he seemed pretty busy drowning more people everyday.
pardon me for the double post... I let my aunt borrow my aSoS (its hard looking for the complete books here--wherever I am) so I could not verify what Ive written above. Please forgive me on whatever lame ideas i have provided you with c:
your post isn't lame!
I have always thought (and still do) that it was Crow's Eye, too big of coincidence that he arrived when he did plus as you say he could afford it, but i just wonder after reading her dream again (which is entirely accurate about the deaths of Renly and Cat) if Aeron might be a possibility. The crow
seems to point to Euron but a drowned one sporting seaweed brings up a question in my mind.
Just for accuracy here is the whole quote:
"I dreamt I saw a shadow with a burning heart butchering a golden stag, aye. I dreamt of a man with no face waiting on a bridge that swayed and swung. On his shoulder perched a drowned crow with seaweed hanging from his wings. I dreamt of a roaring river and a women that was a fish. Dead she drifted, with red tears on her checks, but when her eyes did open, oh, I woke from terror.
Renly's is very clear: Stannis, who sigul is now a burning heart, sent a shadow to kill Renly, who wore golden stag (the sigul of his house)antlers upon his helm.
A roaring river (the rain swollen Trident) and a women who once was a fish (once was a Tully) with red tears upon her checks (she had plenty of tears to go around and she had clawed her face badly) lastly she was very dead and then she was not.
So why include the seaweed and the drowning in the description of the crow?
