grrr... somewhere in the cutting and pasting project there were some critical spaces between words left out. lol, please add them mentally.

I've posted. I think I have the genre right. But mine looks nothing like the other worthy stories.

After missing last months challenge I have managed to post mine this morning. Not my best work but I gave it a go. I wrote thre different stories, the first one I realised was actually a nursery ryhme and the second was pants so here is my entry.

The important thing is that you were able to write a story. (And sometimes when we think our own entry isn't very good, the voters think otherwise.)

For those who haven't posted their stories yet: there is less than a day left.

It feels so good to not have to worry about that sentence!

Of course, I posted my story so long ago, I have an insane urge to check and make sure it was this month.... :D

Thank you, Perpetual Man. :)

It always amazes me, how you find the time to do all these reviews. I love reading them, and it's greatly appreciated.

I felt that this month too...and I couldn't find it anywhere! Turns out I was looking at all the pages except the one with mine on...relief I can tell you at finding it, then a little twist of anguish for the knowledge that people will be voting soon and I will have to choose a story, and only one at that!

Phew!

Not quite as last-minute as usual. But until half-an-hour ago, nothing at all had come to mind.

Well, there's mine posted, and still a few hours before the deadline.

There might, perchance, be something hidden...

A virtual gold straw is hereby yours. You can stick it in your hair, or suck on it, whichever takes your fancy.

This exercise is so good for me, i have an awful time keeping things short. Ursa, yours was nice, it was a play on beauty & the beast? Im not sure if Azor is a reference or not. Harebrain came through again i really liked Tad & Sean, lol. Grimbear, fyrebrat, boneman, there were many more i thought were awesome. Im gunna have a hard time voting.

Hehe Judge, I don't think I've ever heard the version of the story you played with (I think I'm thinking of the correct one!) that everyone else did, I have a copy in a collection of English fairytales, that is very different! It has burnt pies in for a start...Compiled by Joseph Jacobs sometime in the 1800s I feel very happy with them, nicely non PC  Also I think I got your hidden thing, but I'm not entirely sure...do tell after voting won't you? :)
