Phyrebrat - Glad you posted - that's really clever!! Loved the situation!

Jameson's. mmm. Now, there's a thought!

I was going to enter this one, but then I saw Dinosaur and Humorous and couldn't do it... my brain won't combine them!

Well I've posted. Like last month, my story looks a lot different than the others. I hope it brings a smile. As I've said before, being funny on purpose is one of the hardest things to do. This is especially true when you come into a situation which is not humorous on the face of it.

And to think our good friend Perp set us to this daunting task. :p Now if he had asked for the style of Ogden Nash I might have a shot of winning this contest.:D

Thanks Parson, I think.

Ogden Nash stored away for possible future reference...

I was laughing already when I read the title, Parson! :D

I believe we've descended to the bottom of the humorous possibilities. Good thing for me, because there's nowhere to go but up.

Parson, you were the last person who I thought would use coprolite in our latest challenge about dinosaurs, but I knew someone would. Great triple lymric, and yes, you made me smile (and chuckle).

Yes, Parson, you had me chuckling - and going 'eewww!' :p

Very good, TDZ! The perfect pun. :D

I somehow doubt that those of us yet to post have all put these possibilities behind us.

I didn't think of the title as funny.

I'm scared now.:D

Ok, I'm embarrassed now. But glad I made you smile.

Are you kidding me? The title is freaking hilarious! I still laugh every time I think about it. I'm not sure if it's the image it evokes, or the fact that it rhymes as well, or possibly the source has something to do with it....

Yes, if it came from Ursa, it would be expected. Parson, not so much. :)

Dante DiBenedetto – From the moment I read this one it stuck in my head, I think the line and the thought that goes with it of punching a velociraptor on the nose just tickled my fancy. From that moment the outcome of the tale was set in stone, but no less funny. Loved it.

Tisiphone – Who knows what the future might hold? Freeze dried dinosaurs? Well I’m sure it’s possible, but like so many good ideas at the time, there is always the chance that things will run out of hand, Dinosaurs being true to their nature. A sly knowing smile to this one.

Brev – Other than one of the greatest names ever created Professor McSquibbly, this one dragged us back down into the squalid realms of toilet humour. Of course that suits the challenge right down to the ground and fits right in. A brilliant bit of creativity with the name and the tastes like chicken just perfect.

HB – Not only is this story spot on about dinosaurs, it harkens back to a time within my living memory, but twists it perfectly. Added to that there are some beautiful moments that almost slip by, and the manipulation of the mammals is just perfect. Probably not the way things happened, but the way they should have.

Lilmizflashythang – Toys are such fun. As technology improves some of the things the robotic ones get so much more realistic. And fun. But perhaps there becomes a point where reality is taken a little bit too far. Do we really want a dinosaur that can make noises like that? Scarily the answer is probably yes. When do they go on sale?

A little grim humor never hurt those that know the tongue of sarcasm. Thanks :)
