With a title like that I bet you are wondering why this appears under the writing discussion banner, eh?

Well as mentioned elsewhere on Chrons, when I finish my current reading pile (I'm on the final book at last) I thought I'd do something a little different and with the exception of the last Wheel of Time book I intend to start the new year by reading books written by Chrons members, whether they are traditionally or self published.

Prepare to panic.

I'm probably going to review them as well - but fully in keeping with my challenge comments I promise to keep them positive!

So to all you writers out there, who has a book they want me to add to my pile (a sale guaranteed), let me know.

I already have quite a few, but there are probably a few I've missed or don't know about, or I have and somehow misplaced them on the old PC...

In no particular order:

Echoes of War - Steven Poore

King of Thorns - Mark Lawrence

Alchemist of Souls - Anne Lyle

Space Captain Smith - Toby Smith

The Source - William G Gee

Undercurrents - Thomas M Grimes

The War Gate - Chris Stevenson

Urbis Morpheos - Stephen Palmer

The Hidden Stars - Madeleine Howard (Teresa Edgerton)

and I've got to get one by Mouse...

Book two. ;) And then... book three (which is the better one, as it was written recently. The first two embarrass me!)

I've got Anne's to read. I think I'll start after I've finished the one I'm on, actually.

I have no idea. Probably. Hang on, I'll go and look.

edit: yeah, just the first one.

Yeah, it's only the first one on Kindle by the looks of things. I think the other two are in PDF. But Perp, I can just email it to you if you like?

Well if you e-mail me the digital versions of books 2 & 3 I'll by a hard copy of each from Lulu so

a: they'll go nicely with the first one and b: you get a little money for your hard work :)

Don't be daft, you don't have to buy the hard copies! (Heh, I'm clearly an excellent business woman!) I'll email you... when I've PDFified the third one. ;)

Pah. I'm not leaving the poor old Kingdom on the shelf without the other two it'll make my eye twitch. :)

Give Bane of Souls by Thaddeus White (me) a try :)

And cheers, Your Perpyness. Hope you like it.

Now that rings a bell, I wonder if that's one I have on my old computer or one I noticed and meant to grab.... off to the archives.

Just found another one that I believe is a Chrons member, just can't remember which one... sorry.

Simon and the Wardrobe of Destiny by Ellis Jackson

Is there a specific thread Chrons members can use to post their publications? I didn't realize how many we had!

No, but established members can release press releases (within reason). Perp, this is a brilliant idea, and I look forward to reading the reviews. I think it is something to think about, though. I am still not ruling out self-pubbing the Abendau stuff (it has until September, then its Kindle fodder) and there is a lot still out there, a thread devoted to it would be brilliant.
