I have to admit that I thought last week's episode concluded with the end-of-season cliff-hanger. Until your previous post, I'd not intended to even check whether the show was on tomorrow, let alone next week.
The story is set in 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life — Steve Rogers.
I've just had a thought. In the Avengers film where Coulson gets killed, don't they say he's got kids? Has this been mentioned in SHIELD? Or has it been forgotten about?
Is it a pictorial representation of the plot of Lost?

It seems Marvel’s MCU-set spy series Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is looking to embrace the world of the comic books even more. With the introduction of Mockingbird announced earlier in the week, we can now also report that Absorbing Man will make an appearance in the show’s second season premiere.
The Stan Lee and Jack Kirby creation will be played by Brian Patrick Wade, who’s appeared previously in Teen Wolf, The Big Bang Theory, CSI: Miami and many more.
Absorbing Man, real name Carl Creel, is a super villain who can absorb anything he touches. As ever, the introduction of a new super-powered villain is bound to cause headaches for Coulson and the gang. It makes us wonder, too, if we’ll see Graviton again in this season.
Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns to US screens on 23 September. Channel 4 still haven’t confirmed if they’re maintaining the rights to the UK broadcast.

The official Marvel Twitter page revealed the first look at the character, who is an old friend of Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson. “When we meet her, she might not necessarily be on the right side of things,” showrunner Jed Whedon told EW.
File transfer, anyone?

"Hunter is a mercenary, in it for the money, not the cause. Whether his allegiance is to anyone but himself is still in question."
