Hex! I love your story. I literally laughed out loud. I'd never given any thought to what a horrible life the Grim Reaper would lead, or how "Goth" he is.

Perp: Perhaps we should combine on this story. I'll send them off and you can send them down.:D:p:D

Like I said before, I honestly don't know if I will even be able to enter this month. My laptop died a while back and I am currently using an Ipad to be on here. I don't know when I will get any replacement.

I just had to laugh... (Some people might get the wrong idea though....)

You'll be missed Karn. I quite often write my entries on my tablet, but it is a lot trickier than the main computer.

Oooh thank you, Parson :)

Khayos/Quellist -- I remember very clearly being a newbie. Don't worry. We're very nice really. Except me. I'm eeeevil.

Sorry to hear you mightn't be entering, Karn. I hope you find a way.

Hex evil? Or is she is really the good one and the rest of us are twisted, depraved beings....

Having thought about this for a bit I think my problem is going to be being a little too close to the theme, I'm going to have problems cutting it down to 75 words. A good challenge.

Hex -- This comic tale depicts the challanges of adolescence that so many of us have faced in a realistic manner which raises a wry smile.

Khayos -- The author confronts the most overwhelming horrors of modern times in this powerful account of rage and despair in the face of tragedy.

Remedy -- With the cadence of an epic poem from ancient times, this heroic ballad combines the personal and the mythic in a touching way.

springs -- Tongue firmly in cheek, the author shows us the god-like power of the creative arts.

Quellist -- By depicting a symbolic figure as a richly defined character with whom the reader can empathize, this fable touches our emotions.

farntfar -- This jolly romp through pop culture is sure to bring great amusement to all.

Only way I will be able to enter is if I get a replacement PC put together sometime this month, and considering how things go for me, I really do not see that happening.

Hi Karn, I may be mistaken, but (as I have no life) I just counted the words in your last two posts, and guess what number they amount to...? ;)

Well, you're posting here, so posting the story once you've written it shouldn't be too hard.

And as for writing it ... there is the old-fashioned way with pencil and paper.

I understand about not having your heart in the Challenges. I did skip several months myself because I didn't have much heart for writing generally. Even now, it's not coming easily.

If that's the case, you have more important things to think about than your computer, so take care of yourself and come back to us as soon as you can.

A big part of my current issues do stem from it...perhaps a bit silly, but, I really do not have much without it...

Not to mention there are all kinds of other stories I was working on that I can't now, as well. Just glad I had the foresight to toss them into Dropbox...

Death and Fantasy

Continuing the "Darkside" of fiction Mosiax?

Sounds good to me. And it seems confortable with the nine who have already posted so far.

I've noticed in the past, that it's an easy path for most of us to take. I haven't gone very "dark" in while. Maybe it's time for me to do so.

But if I think of something funny first, I may go that route.

I wonder what has been posted so far? Hmm? Nine already.......
