Dr Who Characters whom you found to be Unlikable and of Little Use.

Amy Pond always struck me as the new Bonnie Langford.

I would have never made that connection, but now you've brought it to my attention...all of a sudden I see it!

Your comment definitely wins my vote for the 'Best damning with faint praise' award 2014. :)

Donna Noble. It's because of her I've stopped watching it. But if I want to see what happens next I'll have to continue. Been a year or more since I've seen it. Waiting until there is nothing else on.

Bring back Rose Tyler! She was the best! :(

I didn't mind Donna, I liked the shift from pretty potential love interest to someone a bit different.

Not attacking you or anything, but I'm just legitimately wondering why you disliked Donna? Please don't take this the wrong way. I just want to get why people found her dislikeable.

IKR! I loved Donna.

Hi Srylanna! No worries, I don't offend easy. :)
I felt Donna kept getting in the way of what the doctor was trying to do.

In what way? I always felt like Donna was one the just right distance and closeness with the doctor; she knew when to encourage him and when to have him question himself because at times Tenth just seemed like he was going to fall apart. I loved their dynamics, especially because Martha was before and that was just bad because Doctor and Rose had chemistry while Martha was just forced so Donna felt like a welcome change especially since she was never romantically tied to The Doctor.

For me, I felt the doctor was never questioned before because he always knew what to do. He still knew, but here comes Donna telling him no. Don't do that and explains why. Like she's in charge. I didn't like that. I wanted the doctor to be in charge and his companion to follow his lead.
I also have to admit I'm a sucker for romance. Seeing none here, probably made it even worse for me.
I'm really sorry and hope I didn't upset you. It's just my opinion. :)

Nono. I just wanted to get why people dislike her so totally not upset. Thanks. :D

Rose was the best, and the reason I started watching the show. She carried me through not really getting into the first doctor of the new series. Her leaving was tough. Donna annoyed the pants off me in the holiday special, but I guess she is at least more interesting than Martha Jones. There's nothing wrong with Martha, she's just not very interesting.

I wasn't too fond of Martha either. I heard from somewhere (don't quote me on this!), apparently whenever the actress is told of a section of fans who were not enamoured with her she pulls the race card! I really hope it's not true.

My partner utterly hated Pond. Purely because my X is a redhead called Amy. Ha!

And I really liked Donna, it was refreshing to see a companion who wasn't trying to snog the Doctor every ten minutes. Plus she was hilarious: the sign language meeting in the adipose episode is a classic!

Interesting, I liked Martha. She was smart and a nurse. I thought that was cool. She also had to put up with a lot, trying to protect the doctor when he was at his most vulnerable.

She was actually a doctor but I agree. I loved Martha - she probably comes right after Ace as my favourite companion. She was clever, smart, beautiful etc
