DISCUSSION -- December 2014 75 Word Writing Challenge

telford -- An unexpected side of a mythical figure leads to clever wordplay in this amusing tale.

chrispenycate -- Multiple elements drawn from a wide variety of sources are combined in a unique and provocative story.

mosaix -- The laconic narrative style of forensics is applied in an unusual way in this creative work.

Thank you for the review, Victoria.

This must be the challenge for everyone to be in early. I've posted!! And like usual, mine is completely unlike anyone else's entry. But I kinda like it. I've now read through the others and I'm amazed at the way we've taken this unusual challenge and made it into very tidy stories. I really like The Judge's "Belle."

Thanks for the review Victoria. I love the line "subtle feeling of the mysterious."

Great stories so far everyone!

Grappling with a concept that's just not quite working at the moment. Luckily with TJ getting in nice and early there seems to be a spare spot in the last minute camp. I might need that...

Many thanks, as usual, Victoria. How do you keep doing this sooo well?
And thanks to Willwallace. Glad you liked it. (Although to be fair ...)

I'm back! (All work and no play makes Annie a dull girl ...) Noir isn't really my scene, but I decided that I was going to come up with something today regardless of the challenge.

Starbeast -- An unexpected twist blends two fictional characters into a wholly new creation.

Thank you Victoria, fellow reviewer. And may I say, you've created a fantastic tale, once again.

How nice, Christmas comes a little early with these wonderful reviews from Starbeast and Victoria! Thank you both for the very kind words! I actually feel kinda-sorta like a writer when I read your amazing reviews! :)

Starbeast, I love the twist at the end of your own story, well done! (I was sooo jealous that you thought to use Christmas red for your title, too...wonderful touch!)

You're welcome, and I double-ly thank you Cat's, for your nice comments toward Victoria and me. Plus thank you for a review, I'm stunned. It was a bizarre mental chain of thought which lead me to write my "Plan B" story. I disgarded "Plan A", because it was really weird without an ending. And don't be jealous my friend, you wrote an exceptional tale.

Thank you Victoria! And I absolutely agree with CC... You and Starbeast rock! :)

You're welcome, and hank you Juliana for your wonderful comment. You made my night, er, early morning.

Thank you SB and Victoria for the great reviews x

Yay... reviews. Thank you Starbeast and Victoria.

You're immensely welcome Bowler1. Nice to see you're still blasting things in your stories.

Thanks for the amazing reviews, Starbeast and Victoria! :)

You're very welcome, and thank you Ashleyne. You made my night (early morning

Whew. I had to catch up. I hope I didn't miss anyone. I shall return, with more reviews.

Thanks for the comments Victoria. I'm glad to be back Theresa. I hope I can stay around longer this time. Moving back to the US and a new job has just eaten up all my writing time.

I do hope all the talk* in the staff room about having 20 votes for this month will come to something.

*that would be the talk I'm about to start with this post....

D. Z. You know there is a rumor making the rounds that you're bound to get 20 votes with that story?!:)
