DISCUSSION -- January 2015 300-word Writing Challenge (#16)

A Midsummer Night's Fun -(@Luiglin ) Strange, the world is captivating making you feel like you are apart of it. Ones mind can decide by itself what part of the spectrum the recorders are. Are they the people watching the humans, or the humans watching the people. Or are they even humans? Gnomes? Animals? Good story.

From the Son comes the Dark - (@ratsy ) A moment in a kids life where the only thing really able to prove his insanity, is in his case the death of his people. How maddening it must have been to know your people find you insane, don't believe you because they cant see what you see. Only thing I wonder is if he never saw them in the first place, would the same have happened, or would he have died with his family?

Despatch Note - (@farntfar ) Feelings people have daily, feelings that might take over ones life, like it did in the characters life. Seeing the image used as inspiration we know now the man got what he wished for. Be careful what you wish for.

Cheers Victoria

That was hard. I wanted 3000 words, and was already up near 500 before I checked, and that was with half the story still to go. Loved the image.

Sorry about the cocoa Kerry. I spent hours thinking about the last sentence, knowing I could only use a few words. Thanks.

Thank you for the review T.J.

How do you know it was a man? (I know. I know. You could have just called me Denis .....)

Anne Martin -- This enchanting fantasy is full of exotic details and complex ideas, transporting the reader to another place.

reiver33 -- The author manages to make use of advanced scientific concepts and philosophical paradoxes while also depicting a character driven to desperate actions.

Karn Maeshalanadae -- This cautionary tale builds its important theme through the use of suspense and irony.

My 300 worder keeps getting away from me. The last draft was 600 plus word.:alien: still its nice to actually be writing more.

Wow, I really like your story, Perp! Very clever, very moving--all spot on! Well done! CC

Just having a read through of all of the wonderful entries! I haven't quite finished reading them all yet, but I just wanted to say that I really love your take on the picture Juliana!
