Discussion -- March 2015 75-word Writing Challenge

Good on ya, CC. There were six stories like yours that came sooo close to the gold.
Many thanks to Ratsy and Her Honor for the mentions. What a month.

Congrats from me too, CC, and thanks to everyone who gave my offering a read, especially those who listed, reviewed or (gulp!) voted for it.

It's a shame that writing for me requires a near-planetary alignment of topic, opportunity and stream of consciousness; this was fun. I'll at least try to read and vote going forward, if you'll have me. ;)

Likes for everyone!! I feel like a proud father passing out cigars after a birth--"Here you are...it's a 75 worder and we're very happy!" :) I hope it doesn't seem as though I've given out too many likes...but I feel lucky ever even to receive votes, and to win...it's just very-very cool.

I've come up with a theme/genre pairing today...I'll send it off soon for approval. It's kind of an unusual one, I think...maybe? But I hope/think it might give the opportunity for some different types of stories. Don't be worried, though--it's not too crazy! And you're all wonderful, and will have no problems with it, I swear! :) Thank you again for the kind words, CC

ps--I vote, also, for Grimward to keep entering the 75 worders! :)

Thanks for the mentions so far folks. I've been using the like post option to use as thanks.

Top three for me...

Juliana - nicely painted picture in my head
HighEight - good reworking of a classic quote
Sancho - that last line had me grinning

The vote went to Sancho just for the chihuahuas :)

Thanks, Luiglin - I just wish I could have made it more urgent to fit the theme!
