The 300-worder is up. As always with the longer form, entries can be posted from the 10th of April, but that doesn't mean no-one can talk about the challenge until then.
And as ever, the image is only there to provide inspiration; your story does not have to reference it, even indirectly.

Phyrebrat can expand upon this, but it was originally in the January Photo Challenge, and labeled as "the airport at Grenada".

Great picture, Phyrebrat! Inspiration struck over morning tea...I have 500 words, and just have to whittle down to 300 (I'm going with humor:)). Excited to post the story on the 10th...excited to see what everyone else comes up with!

Yes, lots there to give plenty of inspiration. I hope, anyway, since I've got nothing and I'm likely to get nothing from it until I start panicking on the 30th. *envies all these people who get ideas at the drop of a hat*

And just for the record, Phyrebrat's picture credit was going to be "Christopher James Bean Aged 43 And A Bit" but Ursa is more sensible than I am. :p

A great picture, which immediately inspired me with several ideas. I've settled on one, and whipped out a quick story. Good thing I can sit on it for some time, and let it age. If only I could come up with something for the 75 word challenge...

A good picture and I have an idea or two on the bubble. I had none with the last picture, what can I say, but fingers crossed this month I'll be posting. I do wonder who landed that aeroplane in the real world, it must have put the fear of god into those goats on that faithful day!

Whoa-ho!!! Nice photo. I didn't expect anything like it, course I never know what to expect for each quarterly annual challange.

Already I've got a few ideas, and I'd better work on them quickly, because I have a feeling someone else might be thinking the same as me. How ever rare that may be. And don't worry folks, I'm staying away from the "rude/crude" humor, so none of you will have to worry about anything nasty coming out of me (so to speak).

Now where did I leave that bottle of Brain Juice? Uh-oh, the horse has it. Tonto! Hey, come back here! Naughty, bad...no. Drop it, drop it. Good boy.

Well, I'm back now. I missed out last month, but I'll take a look this time soon.

Good to be back, peeps.

Okay. I've taken a look at the picture, and, well...

I don't know if I can say what immediately comes to mind, but I think I'll be able to come up with something.

A very interesting picture and something a little different, at least to my eyes anyway.

I haven't got an idea yet, although it does seem to make my brain jump, so maybe there is something peculating away in my subconscious.

I'm glad folks are happy with the picture in these times of such challenging challenge stims. ;)

The story behind the pic? Well;

1) I was in Grenada
2) I saw a derelict airport
3) I took pics

Grenada doesn't really have a tourist trade and is very rural, so there is no explanation. All I know is that this was the first airport and (luckily) not the one I landed in. When the challenge is over I have some other pics of the site which itself is rather odd before you even get to the derelict. I will wait to post them as it may give people false stim for the challenge, though.

Phyre, I was really hoping for a better story, involving a crashing plane, some strategic dancing to reactivate broken engines (futher known as the Christopher) and then a goat exchange from a survivor to a Grenadian father for his beautiful daughter's hand in marriage.

Wait, there goes my story
