Hmm..............................what was my bright idea? Oh yeah. Plan A, or Plan B?

Plan A: ********** ** ***** (title subject to change)

I'd have to *** ********** *** *** ** ******* *****. ** ***** ** ****.

Plan B: ** ****** **** **** (title subject to change)

It ***** ** ** ********* ** * ******* ****. * **** **** * **** ****, ***** ** ******.

Give me a fews hours.

I'll cut the lawn. Lot's of rain lately. The lawn is thick, and a foot tall.

I like the smell of fresh cut grass. Smells like, morning.

Thirty seven replies, and counting.

@DG Jones No worries, I check for typos (usually) before posting a tale. But I made a quick post when I returned today (before lawn cutting).

Just call me the "Typo Beast", or "Baron of Grey Matter", or "Sir Loin of Beef".

Ihe -- "There's no place like home." So you might think, if you only know the movie version of The Wizard of Oz. Readers of the original series of books by Baum will remember, however, that Dorothy says goodbye to Kansas forever and eventually settles down for good in the Emerald Kingdom. So might travelers feel after their exotic adventures, remaining in didtant places in their memories.

Don't ask me to vote on the stories, there are just too many good ones

GreenKidx -- The ancient Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi related that he dreamed he was a butterfly, and when he awoke he was unable to determine if he were actually a butterfly dreaming he was a man. Dreams often seem as real as our waking lives, and certainly have a great deal of importance in shaping our minds.

Sancho -- Advances in reproductive technology have had a profound effect on the nature of gender roles. The ability to control one's fertility has greatly changed the lives of both men and women in modern society. No doubt this trend will continue, along with a further blurring of the sexes in those individuals who do not fit into the traditional two categories.

I counted it fifteen times. Each time its seventy four words.
But every time I use the word processor counter, it says ninety four.

So mods? If you see twenty or so invisible words, could you excise them...??
I simply can't see more then the visible seventy four plus two word title..

(Darn pixies piggybacking invisible tweets upon my challenge entries...)

Thank you perp!
Your reviews always make me smile.. Long or short they are always a sweet treat.
(Goes off to find a cookie..)

jastius -- Myths are created to explain the mysteries of the universe. In times of crisis they can help the victims of disaster cope with the seemingly random nature of catastrophe by providing a reason for their suffering. Even this tiny bit of meaning can tranform despair into hope.

Kerrybuchanan -- Desperate times create desperate people. Those who would normally follow the rules of civilized behavior often abandon them when survival is at stake. Who among us can say that we would not do the same?

I had despaired of getting a story in this month, but there we go. I'm drained dry this week. That was a solitary drip of inspiration.

Been there many times Kerry!

When the waterfalls of creative juices decide to abate, there is the nothing worse than the hot dry breath of deadline when all you have left are the last few pockets of fumes :D. Don't worry creativity is like British weather - always changeable and unpredictable. You'll be back!

Thanks for the great review Victoria. I always look forward to them
