Discussion - May 2015 100-Word Anon Writing Challenge (#6)

A Midsummer Night's Cleave- What starts out looking like a mischievous story quickly becomes deadly serious, with a terrifying ending.
Ripple- An ethereal creature searching for perfection finds it only within herself.
Time to reflect- The freedom to be together will come at a high cost. Is Miranda willing?

Hmm, indeed, not long to go. Perhaps I should get to work, having promised? Writing work, that is (or at least inspiring Kerry to write). Not limericks, or noting we're already a record, even without a last-minute rush:-

Thank you, Chrispy! Wow, a record-breaking month! Great to see it all laid out like that, and a limerick to boot. Bravo

We are up to 28 now. I live in hope of a couple of last minute entries (or 3 or 4?) to break the big 3-0. Anyone?

Also if someone who hasn't entered (and doesn't plan to enter) would like to pm me, I am looking for a Red Herring for this month. Otherwise it might have to be me. :p

Chrispy, you just moved this from a dusty corner of the Chrons to a legitimate challenge...I may even have to come up with a story to throw my hat in the ring :sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky:

I miss the old title...but then people may have expected me to actually run it or something so nevermind...:ninja:

We sure have had some strange themes..That old chestnut, "The words of Mercury are harsh after the songs of Apollo. You that way: we this way." Now if that isn't a challenge, I don't know what is!

You'd prefer an illegitimate challenge?

But yes, it's not only that I live in dusty corners, more that I lived through them before they were dusty - or before Dusty left us to matern. Perhaps I'm something of a dusty corner myself.

And I thought I'd got over limericks too.

I was quite tempted to write a limerick about this very challenge, but couldn't think of anything to rhyme with "challenge". Except perhaps blancmange. I'll stick it on the WiP pile.
A quick search only really brought up Falange as a rhyme but seeing as this is the name of the old Spanish fascist movement I'm not sure how amusing the end limerick would be.

I agree, just couldn't see where the 100 anon could be linked to the Spanish fascist movement all within a limerick. Now there's a challenge :)
