I agree - any other actor as the doctor and it would have been unwatchable. He's one actor I wished we'd seen more of as the Doctor he was almost everything I imagined him to be.
After the fun and funky of seasons one and two of Torchwood - Miracle Day was just not right. I might have enjoyed it if it wasn't Torchwood.
If we are going puppets and Dr. Who is moving to a later and later time slot I'd say they should embrace it and to the full and add the cast from Mongrels in!
