@Tim James Most of us innocently wonder about, "what lies beyond". Wonderful.

@chrispenycate This post apocalyptic tale would make for a great tv series. Intense.

@Culhwch Marvelous medieval drama about two brothers. Great period piece.

Glen -- Within a brooding tale of dark fantasy, the author shows us the inner workings of a character who learns something very important.

StilLearning -- This unique tale manages to combine pastiches of two very different genres with some biting satire.

@Glen An ancient warrior prepares to meet a fierce creature. Outstanding tension.

@StilLearning A Lovecraftian race is discovered, and a murder mystery. Great stuff.

@Azzagorn A space pioneer experiences his first mission. Excellent drama.

@Quokka Shocking tale about demon abduction in a village. Disturbingly delightful.

@Ursa major Surreal story that blends fantasy with reality. Paranoia perfection.

Azzagorn -- This ironic story reminds us that "small" and "large" are relative terms, and what may seem trivial to one person may be vastly important to another.

Quokka -- The calm narrative tone of this surrealistic horror story serves to increase the impact of its frightening plot.

Ursa major -- By drawing the reader into a carefully constructed science fiction setting, the author strengthens the unexpected climax.
