March 100 Word Anonymous Challenge - Discussion Thread

So.
Like the cobbler who wakes up to find the pixies have mended all his shoes, I wake up with another terrific story to publish under my own name.

Hey! Englishmen!
No jokes about cobblers.
Wait until you see the one I actually wrote.

Two more magnificent tales added this evening.
It's a joy to post them.

I smelled brain juice, so I came over to see what's cooking. Lots of great entries so far. Which makes me want to add my own little tale among the excellent stories. I couldn't help but to read them.

Hmm. Gold + Fantasy = ..................................I think I need some time for this one.

And another fine story arrives overnight.

If you haven't done this job yet, you should try it.
It's lots of fun, but, given the quality of what you post, you'll find you quickly run out of superlatives.

A new and different take on the theme arrives tonight.
Open your eyes to the possibilities of this wonder material.

And another excellent story arrived this afternoon.
(People sleep in on Sundays I suppose.)

Keep 'em coming.

Oh dear. Technical problems (Leaves on the track. You just can't get the staff. That kind of thing.) has caused a slight delay in the publishing of the last entry of which I spoke.
My abject apologies.

The problem has now been rectified and the story published.
Furthermore another magnificent entry has arrived in the meantime. So you have 2 new stories to delight and amaze you.
Please enjoy them.
And keep 'em coming.

"The Last Quest of Sir Anselm the Younger, Knight" -- The author uses the classic structure of a legend to point out that good does not always triumph.

"Blind Greed" -- This tale of a fantasy world not unlike our own in its evils shows us there is no limit to cupidity.

Nice stories. I want all of this talent at another thread. Mind if I shamelessly plug the Three-Legged Improv here? You don't mind, how nice of you. Here it is: go check it out. There, can't take it back now.

Another 2 great stories arrived this morning. (Are the flood gates starting to open?)
Unfortunately I had to send 1 back for exceeding the word count, so we'll probably be getting the revised version during the day.

Please, please, please, please, PLEASE check your word counts yourselves.
This particular story clocked up as 100 words in MS word, but was 1over in reality, and I'm a real stickler for that.

Ihe!
Shamelessly using this thread for your advertising.
And for such an unworthy cause. I'm shocked.

Not nearly as much fun as finding new and exciting ways to misspell my name to bring the farts out apparently. :)

Tbh, I always misread your name, placing the "t" at the end. Even if I know that's not what it says, I can't help seeing it. Gestalt effect and whatnot.

And I feel hurt my beautiful thread has been called an unworthy cause. I'll forgive you if you participate in it .
