I'd love to see Clive Barkers Weaveworld made into a TV series.
That was supposed to happen some years back but never did.

I robot. Not that horrible Will Smith shambles which was essentially one long scene of him urinating on Isaac Asimov's grave. I know it will never happen since the audience now is so dumb that they think Star Wars is intellectually challenging. I'd like to see a realistic and interesting philosophical story about the evolution of technology. Ideally with no big special effects.
I disagree , the Will Smith film was quite good
All of them. They were strung together under the guise of an interview about the history of a character. That would work well, to show the way that the technology grew and evolved from the perspective of an expert talking to a layman. It would be a long film, but an interesting one.
Although I enjoyed the movie, I, too, don't think it was very Asimov-like. They should've named it something else.
Replay by Ken Grimwood is just begging to be made into a movie.

Hmmm, that's a very interesting way to approach; I'm now thinking that might be a useful idea when making a film of Clifford Simak's City.
Beat me to it
Also, The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers.
Under Pressure by Frank Herbert
