Well done everyone. The range of stories is simply awesome.

Many thanks for the mentions, @Wruter and @Hugh.

I shall do a proper read-through and cast my vote in the next couple of days. I'm in the middle of a move, so running behind.

Well done everyone. The range of stories is simply awesome.

I didn't realise I'd copied Hope until after I'd posted. I'd found an old story(song) where the role of Rudolph was played by a fire breathing dragon, and changed a few details.

A lovely crop of stories this month but these sprang out at me:

Revenge is a dish best served cold, very cold, @Luiglin
Trophies, @Dave Barsby
Snow Queen, @Wruter
Frozen Liquid Assets, @Heijan Xavier
Jingle Hell, @Mr Orange
Santa's Naughty of Nice List, @Bowler1
Fairy Light, @DG Jones
Christmas Lights, @Moonbat
The Reason it Finally Stopped... @mosaix

In the end it was a toss up between DG's wonderfully-crafted tale ('Grub', such a perfect name) and Mr Orange's devilish twist on an old favourite. The song won it for me in the end - such a jolly tune turned to such dark ends...

Speaking of which, I'd better get mine in before I forget.

Dave Barsby -- Trophies

Wruter -- Snow Queen
Hoopy -- A Visit From...
Bowler -- Santa's Naughty or Nice List
Vaz -- Rich Pickings
Shyrka -- Hoar Frost
*DEO -- Brontosaurus...*
Jo -- Winter Kisses

And a vote? Thanks Dusty! :)

And thanks to Parson for the special musical mention, and Vaz and Starbeast for the not-musical shortlistings.

For those who are interested, I'm trying to work Brontosaurus and her Quantum Thesaurus into my next superhero novel. It may be a children's book. It may be an actual alternate-timeline-travelling brontosaurus. It may be both.

Do be sure of that time frame -- voting ends on the 28th. :)
Oh, I'm well aware of the time limits. I just need extra hours in the day or an extra body to do things. Perhaps I should say, "Station!"

Why do I get the desire to perform air guitar all of a sudden?

Thank you for all the lovely short-listings. This month's effort was a real blood-from-a-stone job so any mentions are gratefully (and humbly, honest) received. I am also inordinately proud of my title pun.
