Discussion thread -- March 2017 75-word Writing Challenge

@Heijan Xavier .... Is taking us to a place where not only is work one man's love, but his work loves him back and the story shows us the truth about "The Blithe-Dale Work-Place Romance."

@NbDawn .... Is thinking about the poor waste management engineer who has to deal with everyone's crap, while dumping a log himself.

I just joined the (indoor) "Pool Party". Whew. So many revisions on one idea that came to me on the second day, after I saw the new challenge.

*leaps off the high dive board, and canon balls into the water*

@Starbeast .... is pointing us toward a bit of slapstick retribution for a pathetic work place. The only question left is "Should I Stay or Should I Go?"

@RJM Corbet .... is writing about work that might just be a little to close to home for many of us. It reminds me of Johnny Cash and "Sunday Morning" Coming Down.

If you like Johnny Cash, this one is my favorite (Parson loves old Country music):

Starbeast's piece has me thinking about that song that goes "should I stay or should I go, now. If I go there could be trouble, if I stay it could be double." Or something like that.... By the clash was it?

Indeed it is.... They remind me of Eric Burton and "The Animals" proving how truly ancient I am.

Thanks! My internet reception is very patchy, so I look forward to watching the videos.

'Sunday Morning Coming Down' also a Kris Kristofferson song?

Actually he wrote it. I like Johnny Cash's rendition just a tad better. You knew Johnny Cash lived the song, I'm not so sure about Kris, a movie star (B) after all.

B???

Hey... he had some big ones! Stagecoach, A Star is Born... um... yeah!

I need to give it a listen. Not on this old phone, lol :)

EDIT: Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid? But basically B, yeah. Good album, though. Imo

*gives Hopewrites a bouquet of flowers and tiara*

*keeps her tiara out of the hands of her mechanics.*

Why thank you darling!

Jaunty little ditty, never could get it out of my head ;)

Thanks! I listened :)
Must say, I still prefer the Kristofferson original ... :)

Well I'm in. With a story that doesn't really sound like me. --- Maybe I should have entered it in the anonymous challenge? I put it down to @Mouse returning to the Boards.
