Discussion thread -- March 2017 75-word Writing Challenge

@David Evil Overlord .... is looking in on a hardworking housewife of a Super Hero. What he works all day for, his wife manages to work in after picking the kids up from Kindergarten and fridged him. For a normal house wife that's only a "Little Wonder."

@Mad Alice .... is helping us learn that you should never play poker with a demi-god, even if you are an "All Star Poker" player.

I swear every single time I submit early I always forget I've done so, then panic when I see it's almost the 23rd. It is a great feeling when I remember I'm already in, though!

Amazing we've never had anyone -- say, for example, you, or just to pick another name at random, oh, I don't know, me -- accidentally enter twice, forgetting which end they (we) were on.

@chrispenycate .... is showing us a world where robots are doing the work and humans are entertaining themselves to death leaving us unsure what "Force times distance=" really equals.

*Chris' review is subject to change if all of a sudden I get an epiphany and really understand the poem." As the old hippy said "Deeeep Man, Deeeep."

Force times distance = work. I googled it.

"... Midas plagues enforce deprival ..."

Could be a reference to Ralph? :)

@Appello .... is bringing us to a desperate piece of the world where a bomb has to do the work. Somethings is very wrong "When Silence Burns."

I don't think I'm allowed to give any clues until the voting's done, am I? Anyway, I hereby apologise for my cryptic inversion. I don't set out to make things incomprehensible, but it would seem I generally succeed.

Mad Alice -- When in doubt, let the boss win.

Appello -- Nothing ventured, nothing gained -- or lost.

LittleStar -- Expect the unexpected, hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

HazelRah -- The lesser of two evils is still evil.

@LittleStar .... Is busy producing a working M-series for every home, and what a home without an M? But when she goes her own way she shows "How the End Began."

@HazelRah .... shows us that sometimes work, and yes even success is best left alone. Only sometimes does someone get "Gifts of Choice."

Ruh roh. Less than a day to go and still seven short. Don't make me go begging again!

Sure, less than a day - but only four more entries essential (saulfan and nixie seem to share the 32 post somehow). and still :- Bowler1, DG Jones, Droflet, farntfar, Glen, Jo Zebedee, Mr Orange, Phyrebrat, ratsy, The Judge and Ursa major. as yet unsubmitted. So optimism reigns (until the last minute).
