Review of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

I don't think that The first two prequels were bad I liked them all but yes Number three put the rest of the Prequels to shame. Does anyone know why The call Leia Princess Leia cause Bail Organa wasn't a king so why would she be a princess. How do I find my way around this site. It's confusing.

I think she probably means to navigate her way round it.
I must say, I find this site quite well designed but possibly some selective weeding of old, old threads which haven't been used in a while would make it a bit easier?

C'mon mods, start earning the pay you don't receive... :D

i like the old threads:), means i can pull them out and confuse the hell out of everyone when i'm bored!:D

ask specific questions so we can help direct you... and once you can find your way around this place, Ivy's comment will be hiliarious!

I finally saw it last night, and I must say it was quite as bad as I expected. The dialogue, honestly, my friend and I were literally rolling in our seats, trying to stifle our laughter. Especially between Anakin and Padme.... there was just nothing there in any way redeeming, so that when things turned bad I didn't care what the hell happened to them. The thing that dissappointed me the most was the five minutes devoted to the eradication of the Jedi. That could have been a film unto itself, and yet it's, 'The Jedi must be killed.' 'Rightio, then.' Three or four jedi cop it, and we move on... So much that didn't make sense, and wasn't explained. So many bad effects (the lizard, my god!). Call me picky, call me petty, just don't try and tell me these are the best films that could have been delivered....

If the sequence where the Jedi were being killed was extended much more people would start to think 'Yea okay we get the point now'.

I thought the film was great. If you were to sit and watch all 6 films back to back, apart from the inability to move after watching them all, you would see that they all fit perfectly. The 3rd film wasn't supposed to show an apocalyse, it was supposed to link to the older films, well the 4th 5th and 6th. I don't know whether you were expecting the greatest, goriest, imaculate film of all time but since the 6 films are aimed at kids as well as adults, the film wasn't too violent but wasn't too 'kidish', just right in my opinion.

The first sequence with the space fight was amazing! I dunno where those bad effects come into it Culhwch but the guys DESERVE an award for pulling all of that off in computer animation. Everyone always picks at the bad things and makes them seem ten times worse but to me the film was great! I can't wait for the box set of all 6!:D

Well, I finally watched it.

Surprising how a 2 hr + movie can feel rushed and poorly paced, but it was...
I don't really have anything positive to say about this film.
5 Lightsaber fights don't make up for a poor script, bad acting and crappy direction.
Glad my ordeal is over, I am.

So, WS, you are now joining the small legion of people who actually watched the movie and wasted thier good hard earn money on poor script writing and horrible acting...
Make ya feel any better? I can say I do... knowing I'm not the only one! ;)

not funny Ivy. Ya I meant finding my way around the site it's different than other forums I belong to.
i wasn't trying to make you laugh:confused: , my comment was directed at ws. this site is easy enough to negotiate, just takes some practice. and if you've anything specific to ask, we will all jump in with advice (take it from me, my technophobia is legendary), much of it conflicting, but we will try:eek:

me and half the rest of the known world.. (the price was too high!)

gah! just realised I crossed my 1,000 post (and I was saving it for something really important and meaningful - as opposed to the other 999!) :p

Not if it was done right.

Except for the glaring inconsistencies highlighted earlier this thread.

No, just the well-scripted, well-directed, entertaining flick 250 million should buy.

As mentioned, the lizard, as well as CGI Yoda, some glitches in the Anakin-Obi Wan-Dooku fight, the totally lifeless CGI Hayden Christianson. There were more, but I'd have to rewatch it now to recall them, and I'm not a massachist. And if there weren't so many of your self-admitted 'bad things', I wouldn't complain. That's kinda my point.

Just thinking back on it - the Empire's legendary xenophobia wasn't explained. That is, after all, at the heart of the Rebellion - the marginalisation and persecution of alien species. Palpatine even had an alien aide... Another big well done, George...

and popcorn chicken.

Whoops not in the 3 word game thread anymore
