The Perp Challenge Discussion Thread.

Congratulations @Mr Orange and @Suzanne Jackson. I enjoyed both stories (even if I may have cursed a little when Mr Orange's story was shorter than mine...)

For those interested in another challenge, the February 100 Word Anonymous Challenge is now up. I went with a relatively light-hearted theme for this one...

I have a confession, I was using your story as a benchmark to beat for word count. I was originally aiming for 3 extra words for every required (so 80 in total) then I saw yours and knew I had to beat that so set my target at 70

oh, and thanks for all the congratulations

I suspected as much... I almost waited until the end to post, but I am glad I could be an inspiration for you to cut more than you originally thought!

Thanks to everyone who took part in the challenge, it has been quite a lot of fun to oversee.

A lot of you lovely people have said how much you enjoyed it and have 'subtly hinted' that they would like to see another one.

As, from my perspective, I have no problem with this and would love to do one. It will take a little thought though. I want to keep the challenge fresh and a little different each time. Nothing like keeping you guys on your toes.
