The Perp Challenge Discussion Thread.

cool, well, it's just, you know I worked really hard to get the word count to less than 70...

EDIT: all said firmly tongue in cheek of course o_Oo_O

A fun challenge, Perp. Very nice of you to have created, and chaperoned this for us. :)

I enjoyed all of the stories. I could have listed many, well done all. Here is a very short list, and my vote:

Shortlist: Teresa, Peter V, Parson, Alex G and T, Suzanne

Vote: TitaniumTi

I really enjoyed the story, and I thought the challenge words were integrated wonderfully. Okay, now to see who wins the prizes!!

I voted for Peter, but Suzanne was a very close second. Looks like I’m not alone in that assessment.

The poll is now closed. A little bit sad because the whole thing is over, but delighted that it has been a success and you all seem to have enjoyed it. Of course, everyone is a winner just for taking part and turning in some pretty incredible stories even constrained as they were by the conditions of the challenge.

However winners there are, the shortest story going to Mr Orange and the vote to Suzanne Jackson. I will be in contact by PM, hopefully tomorrow.

Big thumbs up to Peter V who came painfully close with his excellent tale.

woohoo I won something! great challenge perp, I really enjoyed have a quantifiable challenge I could work towards (i'm an engineer after all), and the lowest wordcount was exactly that. it was a struggle to make it make sense but I think I almost managed.

also, don't feel like you actually need to provide any kind of prize. i'd be happy with choosing 10 of the 20 words for the next PERP CHALLENGE. there's gonna be another one, right?

Thank you! :)

I'm thrilled that my story was enjoyed so much. I really enjoyed doing this challenge, and I really thought Peter V's wonderful story would get the most votes.

Thank you so much for all the mentions, and thank you, Teresa, for the vote! A few mysterious stealth votes too. So excited!

You are very kind Suzanne but I feel the right story won. Congratulations
