SCI-FI-London 48hr Flash Fiction Competition

I don't know WHY on earth I feel like I would have time to do this but what the hell...entered...

I didn't even get that. It was the damned genre. Whatever they think "political satire" is bears no relation to what I think "political satire" is. The judges' feedback was a lot of insulting nonsense. Ah well.

My random three options are interesting and go well together, unlike last year.

Title HUMAN SHIELD
Dialogue Close your eyes, let me put this on your head... gently does it... now?
Science (optional) Cellular signals start to change brain chemistry

Anyone else?

Yeesh.

Title: ERROR ERROR
Dialogue: I have never seen one but heard they are simple brilliant, have you seen one?
Science (optional): Frozen for millennia, a humanoid 'survivor' awakes

Title: You Can’t Be Everywhere at Once

Dialogue: She’s the expert, hand it over to her. That way we have someone to blame when it goes wrong.

Science: A yearlong eclipse changes the world forever.

I've ended up with:

Title: The South Bank
Dialogue: “It says Urgent Action is now required - so now what?”
Science (optional): Only twins are born from now on.

Not really sure what I'm going to do with that.

My biggest problem with mine is the title. My story is developing fine, but that dang title just doesn’t fit.
