Discussion Thread -- June 2018 75-word Writing Challenge

@Bob Senior .... The Chair .... Bob tells a tale of chair that is so much more than a chair. And where has grandpa gone?

@Stable .... You're All Right Now .... Sir Stable has left us scratching our heads as we try to remember the good times. There were good times? Right?

@M. Robert Gibson .... The Internet Of The Thing .... M. Robert reminds us that with the right connector anything, and he does mean anything, can be a weapon.

I got ojom
Interestingly (? perhaps?) Ojom the name of a god of palm trees and cooking. He was represented as a chubby figure with a palm leaf skirt and holding a ladle. There's a fun story where he ends up boiling Anansi's testicles and feeding the soup to his dog, which is where we get wolf spiders from.

Huh. Didn't know that. I assume this is a Polynesian mythology?

@scarpelius .... Do not add water! .... Scarpelius gives us a surprise ending which is exactly the opposite of the Wizard of Oz's liguidfied witch.

LOL... no need for slap. I stand by my comment. Not had time this month to do any writing at all due to work. This was a quick write up because I didn't want to miss entering. I had another idea but no time to develop it.

Thanks Victoria. I've been properly distracted by other things this month, so had no chance to write reviews of my own, etc. Fortunately I still just about managed to cobble something together in time.
