Discussion thread -- July 2018 75-word Writing Challenge

What I am worrying now is that my grammar is not correct. Also I've mixed a bit verb times and I am not sure if the meaning of phrases is correct.

Speaking only for me, I'm more forgiving on grammar (rules are there to be broken). When I go through the entries my main considerations are did I understand/enjoy the tale and did it match the theme/genre.

Graymalkin -- The author creates a nail-biting sense of suspense in this tense tale.

jackwinabox57 -- The ruthless world of espionage comes to life in this thriller.

Perpetual Man -- Playful humor fills this linguistic tour de force.

Pedro Del Mar -- A decision of monumental importance faces the protagonist of this blend of science fiction and fantasy.

johnnyjet -- One of life's little annoyances is wittily explored in this droll satire.

Parson -- The addictive excitement of the chase is vividly portrayed in this action-packed story.

@scarpelius .... The bigger the pain.... Scarpelius gives us a twist where a misdiagnosis has a surprisingly wonderful result.

@Justin Swanton .... And then there were none.... Justin gives us a twist in a world where the rules are strict and precise.

@HoopyFrood .... Hard Hand .... Hoopy is playing her last hand; but will it be a twist?

Thanks for the kind mentions Victoria and Parson. There is another catch to the story. Anyone get it?

@althea .... Beginnings .... Althea reminds us that a story always twists the truth, perhaps in meaningful or perhaps in convenient ways.

@Phyrebrat .... Landed Gentry .... Phyrebrat has given us a sad but common story with a twist that makes me wonder if I missed something earlier in the story.

@mosaix .... A Twist in the Tale .... Mosaix does indeed give us a twist in the tail, er, I mean tale.

Made me smile!
