Hi, gotta say, best month I've been a part of. Huge.
It's as if the theme "Legacy" brought out what we think we leave behind, what we would want to leave behind, and what we think others should leave behind.
There was love, war, some pranks from the grave, and who can forget when the "Cat Brigade" showed its claws.
Anyway, I enjoyed it, every single one of them, All 47.
The following is not a shortlist as much as just thoughts forced on me by pushy stories.

Ihe- Natural Order of Things; A father-Sondae.

Cats Cradle- Delightful; Shoulda took a beano.

Victoria Silverwolf- Testament; They need to reflect on what he really left them.

Nixie- Homecoming; If we leave, are we no longer Earthlings?

D.A. Xiaoping Spire- The Corporeal Voice; A Lullaby for for the Stars.

Mr. Orange- Human Legacy; Some serious father issues.

Surprisingly for me, there was one clear winner; Andersonville by Bob Senior; I learned I believe that at the end we deserve as much comfort as possible irregardless of the source.

Long enough, will return when the polls close. Have fun.

A very interesting batch of stories. I think this might have been the best variety on theme stories we've ever had. But, that did not make the voting easy!

Woo-hoo a vote! Thanks Plucky Novice. And thanks for the shortlisting Graymalkin and nixie for the nearly-vote.

As for my vote; I was sure after reading it nothing would top Cat's Cradle, but Cathbad proved me wrong. Both excellent entries and The Judge also makes my top three.

I think a big well done to us all this month for both quantity AND quality.
