DISCUSSION -- November 2018 -- 85 Word Challenge

42. Joshua Jones: A vision of technological dystopia, with a moving example of moral courage in the face of overwhelming opposition.

43. Bob Senior: A fable of the eternal struggle between freedom and security, with a telling comment on the limitations of the law.

44. Luiglin: A dark tale of human cruelty, with a structure based on innocence to add grim irony.

I'm in also, feel the same as you do Luiglin.

The pencil is up for grabs, just send a self addressed stamped envelope and your old pencil to Bob, attn Bob .

@Shyrka .... The Needs of the Many .... Shy makes us all shudder as she tells a tale that makes anyone in command shudder in fear.

@Joshua Jones .... 2157 .... Joshua brings us to a future where legalism has been moved into the most extreme end possible.

@Bob Senior .... COMPLY .... Bob tells a story about a world with too many rule and too little flexibility.

@Luiglin .... A torturous nursery rhyme .... Luiglin reminds me of a nursery rhyme that would be right in place in the Spanish Inquisition.

Thank you both for your, as always, fantastic reviews!

Have we...?

:devilish:;):)

As it happens, a couple of missing pieces came to me during my walk before lunch -- you might guess at the nature of these missing "pieces" -- so I thought I'd better capture them before they mutuated into something even worse. Once I'd got them written, there was no point in delaying the final "polishing" (if that's what it can be called).

@Mr Orange .... Is She The 1? .... To cal Mr. O's story macabre is to understate it by half. I shivered at the end.

@Ursa major .... The Book of Magic of the Ruler of the Five Duchies .... I'm afraid I had to read Ursa's offering near pentatime to have the light go on. Memorable it is.
