DISCUSSION -- April 2019 - 75 Word Challenge

@Peter V That's why I don't read the other stories until I've posted mine. Besides, even if an idea looks very similar to the author there's no guarantee the readers will see it that way.

@scarpelius .... Meet you at WorldCon .... Scar makes us all an offer we'd best not accept.

@Ivy Moser .... For Notre Dame .... Ivy gives us a second reason to mourn the ruin of Notre Dame.

---- Ivy, I was thinking along similar lines but you've done it better. ----

@Dr_R_Dizzle .... If these walls could talk... The Good Dr. wants us to think twice before buying that fixer upper.
You are so kind to say so, Parson! It's a sad loss, that's for certain, although it's comforting to know Notre Dame will rise again!

The big woman pictured here really reminds me of my first wife (shudder)

Thank you for the review Victoria.

It is looking like a lot of people are vying to post the last story

Or are too busy eating chocolate!

Well, I am in. Mind blank on the subject all month, then an idea nudged me this morning, so I leapt upon it and captured it. (Banging my elbow and scraping my knee in the vicious struggle, but at least I have something to enter.)

I couldn't pass up on gothic and structure as a theme pairing. I'd taken a break from the 75s but @Luiglin is a tinker with this combination and it forces me to enter. God knows I've whinged enough about challenge genres so it'd be ungrateful to not enter, and then you'll all be chatting my business up and down street like I'm some wasteman innit. :D

Anyway, thanks Luiglin. I owe ya a genre/theme - I have to win for that though, so.... #justsayin ;)

I’ve been hitting a wall of blank white this month for theme and genre. So I’ve had to step out of my comfort zone... twice. I’ve gone for light-hearted, and referencing pop culture
But I’m in at least!

I hope we are soon to have a flurry of entries, because we are getting very close to the deadline here.
