getting the thing written at the last minute before the contest closed
The competition is still open... and you've got about a quarter of an hour of editing window time in which to add a title.

(I only mention this because I think the poll looks better where all the entries have titles.)

@AMB .... Clay Awakens .... AMB gives me a whole new understanding of "claymation."

@Mad Alice .... A Place for Burning .... Mad Alice reminds me that I never want to be the ball when the God have target practice.

@Ursa major .... I… Um… Think It’s Heading for Atomic War…. .... I read Ursa's Elemental story dreading, yet anticipating the hammer at the end. I was not disappointed.

@David Evil Overlord .... And Isn't It Draconic? .... DEO shows us a rare bird. Well, at least I hope it's rare!

AstroZon: High rewards come only with high risks.

elvet: Make sure your environment is well protected from all possible inhabitants.

The Judge: When you have eliminated all other possibilities, consider the absurd.

Maya13: The search for knowledge leads to unexpected dangers.

AMB: Those who cannot remember the past may fall victim to it.

Mad Alice: What is sport for one is often serious business for another.

Ursa major: War makes for strange bedfellows.

David Evil Overlord: The balance of nature is more complex than we imagine.

As an aside, just helped someone out on a facebook fantasy writers group who was asking how he could write a story in 75 words.

Surprised that the gist of a fair few of the replies were that it couldn't be done :ROFLMAO:
