DISCUSSION THREAD -- SEPTEMBER 2022 -- 75 Word Challenge

@Elckerlyc .... A Promise Made... .... E.E.C. tells us a tale which confuses honor with pettiness.

@Perky .... The Drug Preacher .... Perky writes a story of those whose lies are without honor.

@mosaix .... Pals .... speaks of an honor that goes beyond life and perhaps beyond sense.

I do not think so. But my idea what honour is seems to differentiate vastly with the majority of the entries this month.
I retract my entry as it doubtless will not be recognized what it is about.

Please don't just because I misunderstood your story. That's one of the dangers of doing reviews. You're liable to miss something, maybe even something obvious.

Different people see different things in a lot of the stories. On a couple of occasions reviewers have see a facet in an entry of mine that I hadn’t seen or intended and I’m sure I’m not alone in that.

Yeah, well... I did reacted a bit hastily, because I thought to see happening what I already feared. Still do. And I felt handicapped by not being allowed to explain your story and perhaps already had said too much.
But fine, lets see what happens.

Well... I think the worst that can happen is no votes and no listings. A not unfamiliar situation to many of us.....

It's this type of pent-up frustration that Mobs are best able to handle and provide well deserved stress relief. Even better, for this month only swords are allowed and especially the Samauri sort in addition to the usual farm implements that are always close to hand.

Sign up for mob action right quick, before this month's special offer of swords runs out.

I'll make sure I'm standing behind you and covering your back (what can I say, my mob friend is simply volunteering to keep me safe - and quiet right too) and cheering (baying and shouting like any mob should) you on.

Just be careful, you have a lot of Sharp steel there - safety first.

Vote fails I can take because the odds are long anyway and tastes here vary enormously.
I think the most demoralising thing I get is when someone does a HUGE longlist that seems to include everyone - except me :(

@Astro Pen .... Revolution, 180 or 360? ,,,, A. P. causes me to think about what is worthy of honor when the long term results of "honorable actions" are fully known.
 
THX1138 Looks worrying pale, but being from an underground city, it could be normal.

Astro mate, just do your best, you'll get there. If not, have a pitchfork (I'm not wasting what looks like a perfect recruitment opportunity) and join the angry mob.
 
Well, sorry to say, but after warning others to be sure to count their words in the story carefully, I lost this month's story to word count. My word count was indeed 75 but in the last line I wrote “Somethings last and others don’t. Don’t be confused as to which is which.” A line I was extremely happy with, but if you are observant you will note that somethings is not a word, it should be some things which is two words and pushes me to 76. Sigh! I am so sad about this.
