It's a Small World - the modelling thread.

Looks like a good site. All the ships in the Fleet on my wall are modelled as static, and I never add their ensigns as it looks unrealistic when they look as if they're steaming into a strong wind. What I really want are a set of flags in 1/350 scale that are just hanging limply from the flagstaffs and signalling halyards.

Just added this to the stash - it was discontinued years ago, but I found one online in Australia, of all places:

I have the same kit. I built the Dresden and it came out pretty decent but then I dropped a CD case onto it, which sent it hurtling to the floor. Masts and lifeboats pretty much destroyed. I've yet to build the Emden because I don't have anywhere to put it. From what I recall, Dresden has four props but Emden only two. Similar in most other ways. I think I got mine from Germany (pre B*****)
 
Shame the wrecked model wasn't the Emden - you could have restored her as a diorama as she was after being caught by HMAS Sydney...
