@paranoid marvin .... A Mind Forever Wandering .... This is a lovely poem which lifts up a joy that we all (or at least most) of us share.

@The Judge .... A Star Seen in the East from the Future .... This is a story which gives an answer to a grievous historical problem.

@Phyrebrat .... To The White Cliffs .... This is a story which pulls at a hidden truth about where you are and where you'd like to be.

@Bren G .... As Dusk Falls .... This is a story that reminds us that often the greatest insights of life come as strangers become acquaintances and then friends.

Short listed stories:

An Unexpected Win - Win for Time Dilation by @Peter V because the story tells of the ubiquitous unexpected situation that Travelers seem destined to find.

Account of a Visit on 34th Street, New York by @M. Robert Gibson because the story hits the theme head on and still gets seasonal.

Timepyre and the Traveller by @Azzagorn because of the very original idea of a "Timepyre."

A Mind Forever Wandering by @paranoid marvin for a very delightful poetical tale.

A Star Seen in the East from the Future by @The Judge because this is a story tailor made for my predilections.

It was a close race between @paranoid marvin and @The Judge but in the end the reading wanderer won out.
