i have to take great offence at the comments regarding him to be butish and stupid.

How can you take offense to fact? Wolverine strikes out without a clear plan and fights with anger and brute force. He's not as level headed as Batman, nor intelligent to out think him in a fight one on one. The only thing that Wolvrine has is his muscle and regenerating powers to help him. If Wolverine and Batman sat down at a game of chess, Batman would win hands down each and everytime. I have to disagree with you Loganberry & Kenada it is a battle of wit verses muscle.

And if you take offense to that, I'm sorry... it's just the facts we're dealing with.

And Bat man has martial arts and knows how to use an opponents weight and aggression against him. batman would soon incapacitate wolverine in some way

Ah... A1ien... but the truth of the matter is who would win.? My point to Loganberry and Kaneda were merely the fact that Wolverine didn't have the intelligence to out smart Batman. But in reality with one hit, he could do serious damage to the bat. So who do you think would win? It's truly a competition of wit verses muscle here. Would martial arts be worth anything if Wolverine got one punch in on the Bat? I think not.

I believe that Wolverine would but not because he'll out smart Batman but because he has the brute force to bring down (OMG I forgot his name, the big guy, Wolverines enemy) the mammoth guy (I just saw a cartoon the other day with him in it too, if anyone knows who I'm talking please help, thanks ).
Again, I think it would be interesting to see who would win between Superman and Wolverine.

Leto is on vacation, sigh, and with that i'm going to start the second superhero showdown, on a new thread. this one isn't closed, until one of the characters is seeing cartoon moons and planets or staff get annoyed with it, so battle away boys!

Batman might have a chance if he was inside the Batcopter and armed with missiles... but then I guess Wolverine would have the Blackbird so he wins either way.

I think Batman deserves an equal opponent, how about James Bond?

hunny, when i say 'take offence' i am merely standing my ground...i am in no way upset by anyones opinion...what u have are ur views and what i have are mine...we dont agree..thats fine with me ok
in answer to ur reply i again disagree. Logan is a very deep thinker, he is trained in martial arts which take precision and dexterity. his added stength and healing powers only enhance these abilities. as far as a chess game goes i think u would find that logan is extremely good at stratagy and would beat BM hands down...
dont forget this is only my personal opinion

wolverine can heal really quickly has indestructable claws and has increased scences. if i am not mistaken batman does not actuallly have any powers as such just a lot of training.

and yet for all that, batman is no pushover. both are veteran fighters, although wolverine doesn't remember much of his past, the training is till there. the bat is a man with a mission.

Loganberry... we're on the same side! I actually think that Wolverine would win... I just don't think he is as deep a thinker as Batman. If batman was prepared, then I don't think Wolverine would have a chance. But if they were to just meet on the street and go at it, Batman would lose.
And don't forget... Batman also has martial arts training... so it again it would come down to brute force over wit... I voted for brute force.
And those claws of Wolverines are nasty too! They give him an extra 4-5 inch reach. Hard to get out of the way on those... even for the bat!

...that takes away all the fun.

Perhaps Batman gets the edge because he has all kinds of gadgets and toys, like the Bat Jet, etc. But take away Batman's fancy costume and gadgets, and forget it, he's mincemeat.

That depends what Batman you're talking about. I've seen the Bat kill plenty of folk. Some of 'em even deserved it...
