A Feast in fifty days!

lol, u noobs won't suvie 2 min on WoW

Seriously, LF1M = looking for one more, and rez pls = may I get resurrected please?

But the sheer stupidity of most of the chat on an mmorpg is amazing. My ignore list is massive.

Since you guys don't play World of Warcraft, I'm surprised you read my last post.

I can barely wait until Tuesday... the wait is now interminable.

Probably not.

First, I'd have to wait til the 22nd of November...

Second, GRR Martin really angered me with his vitriolic diatribe after the results of the last national elections. Most of you probably clicked onhis website to read if there was an update on AFFC, but instead were treated to his very bitter post about the Presidential election. I was bothered by his comments so... I've been thinking of not buying the hardback. I was just gonna go into Barnes and Noble and read the hardback next week and then buy it in paperback next year. I got into ASOIAF after the others were already in paperback so I continued to get the series in paperback and not hardback.

I have loved the series so far, it's been excellent.

I'm almost ready to start reading the spoiler threads just to find out what's happened in Westeros.

Yes, I'm aware of the double post, but I'm going crazy here.

Well, tomorrow is the 8th. I am ready to sequester myself in the house and slip away from reality for a bit. I hope I am not bothered by people for a few days so I can read in peace. Of course I do not have a house phone, so I could just turn the cell phone off and hit the lights and lose myself in the book. I may check a couple of stores today after work and see if any put it out early by accident. I know Target here has done that before. I sure hope so.

I shoulda gone by Target! Doh!

My niece recently saw the musical "Annie" and she sings the songs constantly now...

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya tomorrow, you're only a day away.

What? You're going to go in and stand there and read the book in the bookstore? Seriously? Over how many days? Why not go to the library, man?

I've got mine yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :) :D
Finally.....I guess I'll start reading on saturday (and get nothing else done).
So see you at the 'spoiler thread'
have fun waiting:p ;)

Today is my day, on the way home from work I'm going to pick it up along with some Chinese food in the pickup place next door.

I've avoided the spoilers for the most part along the way so I can't wait to read it tonight.

Just think Arya, if you didn't vote you would have no right to complain. At least you take an intrest in what will happen to your State. Some people are just fat, dumb, and happy. Well I got my book on the way back from Atlanta today and I shall read it when I get home. Only 30 more minutes and I shall leave this wretched place.

The library doesn't let me take the book over to Starbucks and enjoy myself.

****************************************************************

My feast has begun, I've gorged myself on 158 pages. I won't give any spoilers here, so don't worry. But I did buy the hardback... I cannot believe that any aspiring writers did not blast me for attempted intellectual property theft

Anyway, some of our questions are seeming to be answered and some hopes seeming to come true... but as usual there seem to be even more questions and more plotlines emerging!

I'll be weaning myself off this thread and back into the rest of the forum over the next two days. I find myself reading very slowly, I'm weighing each phrase and everyone's motivations... it's like I'm into the ultimate Christie or Doyle mystery and I must solve it by the end of the first reading.

All you Americans, enjoy yourselves, your voting, and your Chinese food as you feast tonigh!

I'm really liking Brienne's POVs so far- somehow I thought hers wouldn't be that great. I'm only about 160 pages in, though. Who knows?

I have read only 98 pages. I am pleased with all I have read. I would have read more, but I wanted to check the news on Paris and see if it was still burning. Tonight I will not waste my time with Pairs, because it will probably be burning and I do not feel like seeing all those idiots. I shall gorge myself on the Feast tonight.

The Barnes & Noble bookstores have nice comfy upholstered chairs, and there's usually an attached Starbucks coffee shop. And yes, you are allowed to bring your Grande Mocha into the bookstore. :D
