Fun Haiku

card box in doorway
fag butts, gum and torn paper
cold bed for the night

A sleepy dragon
Oh, how she does hate Tuesdays
To much work to do!

Clouds are overhead.
The day seems bleak and cool, but
I am still content.

time passes outside
hours into days into weeks
and I sit and stare

do you think, soldier,
on your patrol on the Wall,
What Rome owes to you?

or after patrol
in the bath-house, relaxing,
What you owe to Rome?

Do you dream, soldier,
of taking up your land-grant,
in soft Southern lands?

What would you dream of
now, if things had gone better
with Ambiorix?

I am electric
I take on robotic form
The hate it fuels me.

Pneumatic body
It is no longer human
I want to destroy

Ozone and cordite
the smell of a war machine
No emotion left

Atomic power
takes on my frustration
Now I stand alone

Grey clouds fill the sky.
The wind stirs. It feels like rain.
An overcast day.

some fluffy white clouds
with grey hearts in a blue sky
can't stop the sun shine

No matter how much
you talk about the weather
it will not change it

but let it rain or
sun blaze from a cloudless sky
enjoy it anyway

The weather is mild.
Daffodils and crocuses
are waking early.

Spring comes earlier,
and my garden is alive
with new, young flowers.

Though Spring wakens, the
Lady of Autumn lingers
in the beech hedges
