Favourite character?

I adore the Fool and Fitz and they are certainly my favourites, along with Nighteyes.

Patience and Lacey are also one of my favourites and Burrich.

I also like Amber and Paragon. I hated Malta at first, but I came to like her, especially in the 'Ship Of Destiny.'

In Assasin trilogy I like: Fitz and Nigheyes and the women - i do not remember her name (she was travelling with the Fitz, she was a Singer?)

Hm, I believe you mean Starling?

I like Fitz (of course - who couldn't?) and Nighteyes...

I also liked Brashen (despite reading his name for over half a book as 'Brashden'), and Chade is great too. I must admit that Molly got on my nerves a bit, and the Fool did at first, but by the last trilogy I got rid of that.

It's been two years since I read this series... I'm SURE there were others I liked, but I can't recall...!

Anyway. This series took over my entire life for a whole year, and I think I'll come back to them someday - once I've had the chance to forget the plot... eh? Lol. The best thing for me about the books were that I didn't really have any idea where they were going to go.

P.S. First post on the Forums! Wooo! *officially a newbie*

In Liveship traders trilogy i like: Althea and Malta, Ryan, Amber oh and Ophelia

i did not mention: Nettle :)

she was travelling with the Fitz, she was a Singer? --> i think her name is Starling

Nettle annoyed me... she was too mean to Fitz..., if I remember rightly

She was kind of like a replication of Molly. Only more stubborn and mean. I didn’t like her very much too.

I adored Fitz, in spite of all his whining. Nighteyes was, of course, my utter favourite, followed by Chade, then the woman in the short story (I forget her name. The story was in Legends, the one where they start getting scales?),then Ke... um... Ketrin? Mountain woman. You know who I mean.

Also a while since I last read the series.

Nettle had every reason to be mean to Fitz, from her point of view. Even though he was her blood father, to her he was a stepfather, trying to usurp the place of her real father. I know Fitz is the main character, which can inspire a certain protectiveness in readers which may not always take into acount the full circumstances, but while Fitz is not at fault - except in the sense of allowing Molly to back out for no good reason, again - Nettle is at least partially justified in her behavior. To summerise, I like her. Leave her alone.

Kettricken is the mountain women, did not read the legends series though, only the 'real' books.

I hate the fact of her woman know better thinking in Nettle, while she is clueless herself.

Has to be Nighteyes - there's a website just for him somewhere, where people have posted their idea as to what he looks like - brilliant!

smitty (or other name) was cool too, the dog he got from Patience

What legend series? o_O There's another series besides the three?

I am not sure, i think by legends she meant

either a book created for fundraising for some good cause where aknowledged writers wrote a piece in.
Hobb, Martin, Rowling,...
martin did the hedgeknight i think and rowling fantastic beasts and where to find them + something else

Or either a book from Megan Lindgrom (?!) - Hobb is just an alias after all
In wich she decribes the journey of the Elderlings i think.

Oh I see, thanks for sharing that info =] I thought being a Robin Hobb fan I should've known. I did know she writes under another name, Megan...have you read any of her books under that name?

There is this one called 'Wolf brother' which interests me (obviously reminded me of Nighteyes) but I couldn't get my hands on a copy yet.

I have read parts of the Eldering book, whilst i was in the library waiting for my next bus home.

It is written like a diary, like a logbook

Do you remember what the title of that book is called? Sorry if I'm being bothersome; I just really love her work.

Nah, I'll check it up next week though when i am in Leuven (a city in Belgium where the library is)

Thank you so very much Kiwi!!! I'm forever in your debt *bows deeply*

*does the happy dance*

Nighteyes, but the partnership between him and Fitz makes it hard to choose just one.
